# Terms of Service **Last updated:** 18 September 2026 These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of **BayMove** (the website at baymove.co.uk and related services). BayMove is a UK property advertising service for the Morecambe Bay area, operated by **Go Host Ltd** (company number **16446520**), whose registered office is at **38 Carleton Street, Morecambe, LA4 4NY** (“Go Host”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using BayMove you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. ## 1. About BayMove BayMove is an online advertising platform that helps people discover residential and other property listings within our Morecambe Bay coverage area (including Lancaster, Morecambe, Heysham, Carnforth, Silverdale, Arnside, Grange-over-Sands, Ulverston, Barrow-in-Furness, and nearby LA towns). We host listings placed by estate and letting agents and by private sellers and landlords. We are not an estate agent, solicitor, surveyor, mortgage broker, or party to any property transaction unless we expressly say otherwise in writing. ## 2. Eligibility and accounts You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract under the laws of England and Wales to create an account or place a listing. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account and (where applicable) your team or agency account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms, applicable law, or our reasonable security or abuse policies. ## 3. Teams, agencies, and private listers BayMove uses team-based accounts. An estate or letting agency typically lists through a non-personal team. A private seller or landlord typically lists through their personal team. Listings and related billing are scoped to the current team. Team owners and authorised members are responsible for how the team uses BayMove. ## 4. Subscriptions and billing Paid features (such as agency membership or private listing packages) are billed through our payment provider (Stripe) via Laravel Cashier, charged to the relevant **team** as the billable customer—not to an individual user in isolation. Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and, where VAT applies, will be stated as including or excluding VAT as indicated at checkout. By starting a paid plan you authorise recurring charges according to the plan you select until you cancel in accordance with the plan terms and any applicable cooling-off rights. Refunds are handled in line with your statutory rights and any specific plan terms stated at purchase. Failed payments may result in loss of paid features or unpublishing of listings. ## 5. Property listings — your responsibility **Property listings are the sole responsibility of the user (lister) who creates or publishes them, and of that user’s team—not of Go Host Ltd or BayMove.** Without limiting the above, you (and your team) are solely responsible for: - the accuracy, completeness, and currency of all listing content (including price, address, description, bedrooms, bathrooms, tenure, furnished status, and other particulars); - photographs, floorplans, and media (including that you have the rights to use them and that they fairly represent the property); - Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) ratings and related energy claims; - compliance with all applicable laws and codes, including advertising standards, consumer protection law, property marketing rules, Equality Act 2010 obligations, and anti-discrimination requirements; - ensuring you are entitled to market the property (for example as owner, landlord, or authorised agent); - any statements made to prospective buyers or tenants and any subsequent contract or dispute arising from a listing. Go Host Ltd and BayMove do not verify, warrant, or guarantee listing content. We may edit, refuse, suspend, or remove listings that appear unlawful, misleading, discriminatory, outside our geographic coverage, or otherwise in breach of these Terms, but we are under no duty to monitor every listing and removal does not make us responsible for the content. When you create a listing you must confirm that you accept this listings-responsibility clause and these Terms. We may refuse to create a listing without that confirmation. ## 6. Geographic coverage Listings must relate to properties with a UK postcode in our Morecambe Bay allowlist. We may reject or remove listings outside that area. BayMove is a local service and does not provide nationwide coverage. ## 7. Acceptable use You must not: - use BayMove for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes; - post misleading, discriminatory, or infringing content; - attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems, data, or other users’ accounts; - scrape, harvest, or systematically extract data except as expressly allowed by us in writing or by robots.txt and applicable law; - interfere with the integrity or performance of the service; - misuse payment, subscription, or promotional features. ## 8. Intellectual property BayMove branding, software, design, and original content remain owned by Go Host Ltd or its licensors. You retain ownership of content you submit, and you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate and promote BayMove (including search results, emails, and social previews). You must not use our trade marks without prior written consent. ## 9. Third-party services and links BayMove may rely on third-party services (for example payments, maps, address lookup, analytics, or email). Those services have their own terms and privacy notices. We are not responsible for third-party sites or services beyond our reasonable control. ## 10. No professional advice Information on BayMove is for general advertising and discovery purposes only. It is not legal, financial, surveying, or other professional advice. Always obtain independent advice before buying, selling, letting, or renting property. ## 11. Liability Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be limited under English law. Subject to the above, to the fullest extent permitted by law: - BayMove and listing content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis; - we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service, or that listings will generate enquiries or a sale or let; - we are not liable for losses arising from listing inaccuracy, user conduct, failed transactions, or third-party services; - our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of BayMove in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid us for the service in that period and (b) £100. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected. ## 12. Indemnity You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Go Host Ltd from reasonable losses, claims, and costs arising from your listings, your content, your breach of these Terms, or your unlawful use of BayMove, except to the extent caused by our negligence or wilful misconduct. ## 13. Privacy and cookies Our processing of personal data is described in our [Privacy Policy](/privacy-policy). Where we use cookies or similar technologies, we will do so in line with that notice and applicable UK law. ## 14. Changes We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, by notice on the site or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. ## 15. Termination You may stop using BayMove at any time and may cancel paid plans according to the cancellation options available in your account or billing portal. We may suspend or terminate access for breach, legal risk, non-payment, or discontinuation of the service. Provisions that by nature should survive (including listings responsibility, IP, liability limits, and governing law) will survive termination. ## 16. Governing law and disputes These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of **England and Wales**. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer you may also benefit from mandatory protections of your place of residence where applicable. ## 17.
